When We Dance 2024 - NOTE OUR NEW TIMES TO DANCE
Syncopation Dance Club is a non-profit social organization in the south-central PA area serving York, Harrisburg, Gettysburg, Hanover, Carlisle, and Lancaster PA, that provides opportunities for ballroom dancing in a friendly atmosphere for it's members and guests. Live bands will provide the music whenever possible, with occasional Disc Jockeys as a limited alternative. Snacks and beverages are available for a nominal donation. Personal alcoholic beverages are permitted.
Ballroom Dances
Our members enjoy dances such as the Foxtrot, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Quick Step, East/West Coast Swings, Rumba, ChaChaCha, Night Club Two Step, Polka, Hustle, Bolero. We also enjoy Latin dances of Samba, Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Tango.
Specific musical selections may be requested, and if possible, accommodated.

From Route 30, take North George Street for approximately 3 miles.
From Baltimore, take 83 North, to the Emigsville exit. Take right off the exit ramp and continue to the next traffic light. Take right onto N. George Street and go approximately 1 mile. Emigsville Fire Hall on the right.
From Harrisburg, take Route 83 South, to the Emigsville exit. Take a left off the exit ramp and continue to the 2nd traffic light. Take right onto N. George Street and go approximately 1 mile. Emigsville Fire Hall on the right.
Membership
Regular monthly dances are on the first Sunday of the month from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. A Christmas dance on the first Sunday of December is included in the membership, but reservations are required since this is a catered dinner event. A New Year's Eve dance is NOT included in membership, and is open to the public. A nominal charge applies to this event.
Dance Guests are limited to one regular dance per calendar year.
